Merry Christmas, Real Talk Family! If you’re reading this, turn to your neighbor and say, we Made it!!! Christmas 2021 has come, and again we are still in COVID-19; however, some of us have made it to see this glorious day, so we must rejoice and be glad in it. During this time, I am incredibly grateful for life, good health, my family and friends, and most importantly, for being in a relationship with God. I hope this holiday season has allowed you to reflect on your life, show love to everyone, celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, and enjoy some family traditions.
For me, I have been able to catch up on some much-needed rest, binge-watch my favorite shows, make my rounds to see famILY and do my favorite pastime BAKING! This season, I’ve worked hard to perfect my Grandma Shirley’s, Sweet Potato Pie. This pie is a pure labor of love that you can taste in every bite!!!! I will share my recipe with you, and I promise you it will be the star of the dessert table at your home too!
